5 Weed Drink Recipes You Have to Try

Weed drinks are basically a combination of weed, and alcohol. Even though weed is now getting legalized across North America, it's hard to find weed drinks for sale. If you’re a stoner, well, you’re in luck. Because this article is going to talk about 5 weed drinks that you might want to try. We all know that sometimes either booze or bud by itself isn’t going to cut it. Then why not try both at the same time in one take? Sounds intriguing? Let’s find out some great weed drink recipes. 

Weed Whiskey Recipe

  • Ingredients: 750ml of Bourbon Whiskey, ¼ oz of Ground Weed
  • How to make it
    • It’s not very complicated, yet it takes some time depending on your preferences. Pour the bottle of whisky into a sealable jar, and add the ground weed. Shake the jar and let it sit for at least 48 hours up to one month. You’d need to shake it up at least once a day. Don’t forget, the longer you hold, the more potent it will be. When you’re done with waiting, you can pour the whiskey into another glass container using a cheesecloth to sort out the bud from the whiskey. Repeat it until done. Enjoy!
  • Perfect for: a hangout with your “bros”.

Weed Highland Latte Recipe

  • Ingredients: 1 Egg, Weed Scotch (750ml of scotch, ⅛ oz of weed), Bitters, Punt e Mes (It’s an Italian vermouth), and Cynar (a bitter liqueur, Italian again!)
  • How to make it
    • Let’s start with the weed scotch that you made above. Add the weed into the scotch. Follow the same step as weed whiskey (shake everyday, 48 hours to 1 month, and use the cheesecloth!).
    • Separate egg whites from yolk. Pour yolk into glass, cover and shake. Add the scotch. Now add the Italian duo, Cynar and Punt e Mes. Add a few dashes of bitters, and pour in egg whites. Add some ice. Cover the glass and shake. Strain into a latte mug. Add a dash of bitters and swirl. That’s it.
  • Perfect for: a chill October rainy evening with a lover.

 Weedtini Recipe

  • Ingredients: 2.5 oz Weed Gin (750ml of gin and ⅛ oz of weed), 0.5 oz Dry Vermouth, 1 dash Orange Bitters, and lemon twist or weed leaf.
  • How to make it
    • Have you noticed a pattern? These bud drinks are not very challenging to make! Same for the Weedtini, follow the same directions. Add the weed into the gin, remember to shake it every day until you feel like it has reached your ideal ratio. Once you’re done with the weed gin, get a mixing glass. Add all the ingredients, and fill with ice. Stir it until very cold and pour into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist or a weed leaf. Done.
  • Perfect for: a summer weekend on a patio.

Weed Margarita Recipe

  • Ingredients: 2oz of Weed Tequila (750ml tequila and ⅛ oz weed), ¾ oz Lime Juice, ¾ oz Simple Syrup, ½ oz Grand Marnier, and a pinch of salt.
  • How to make it
    • For Weed Tequila, remember that the basics are the same. Prepare 750ml of tequila and ⅛ oz of ground weed. Remember: Shake everyday, at least 48 hours, and sort out the weed. When you’re ready to go, get all ingredients and shake them all together. Muddle, and strain over ice into a collins glass, and garnish it with lime peel. Remember the salt. Drink!
  • Perfect for: a Friday evening in July, or anytime honestly

Weed Eggnog Recipe

  • Ingredients: 6 Eggs, 3 cups of Heavy Cream, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of Vanilla Extract, ¾ cup of sugar, 1 cup of Weed Whiskey (see #1 if you don’t know how to make them), and Nutmeg.
  • How to make it
    • Left with all the weed whiskey that you made 3 weeks ago and don’t know what to do? Don’t worry, you can turn it into a nice cup of eggnog. Get the whiskey. Separate egg yolks and egg whites into two bowls. Add sugar to the yolks and whisk it rapidly for 2 minutes. Now, add the heavy cream, vanilla extract and the whiskey. Whisk until ingredients are evenly settled. Place the egg whites in a mixer, add salt, and whip on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold stiff egg whites into the yolk mixture, and while you do that, grate nutmeg into the mixture. Cool it for one hour and serve with grated nutmeg on top.
  • Perfect for: a snowing December Saturday evening.
